The Philip Barbour Colts basketball team (Philippi, WV), was overwhelmed 63-33 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Parkersburg South Patriots (Parkersburg, WV)

The Patriots now possess a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Huntington for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 7. Parkersburg South will confront a Highlanders team coming off a 51-50 non-league loss to Princeton (Princeton, WV). The Highlanders record now stands at 10-8.

The Colts (10-7) will now prepare for their battle against Lewis County (Weston, WV). The Minutemen come into the Big Ten battle with a 14-5 record. In their last battle, Lewis County trounced Lincoln County (Hamlin, WV), 51-44, in a non-league battle.
