The Sidney Red Raiders (Sidney, NE) basketball crushed the visiting Scottsbluff Bearcats (Scottsbluff, NE), 70-39 in Saturday's league test.

The Red Raiders (19-1) will now prepare for their test against Chadron (Chadron, NE). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 9-12 record.

The Bearcats now own a 16-5 record. They play next when they host North Platte for a non-league test on Thursday, February 9. Scottsbluff will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 46-38 non-league win over Hastings (Hastings, NE). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-15.
