In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Southington/Coginchaug/Westbrook Knights (Southington, CT) ice hockey team bounced the host Wilton Warriors (Wilton, CT), by a margin of 8-3.
The Knights now possess a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shepaug/Litchfield/Nonnewaug/Thomaston for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 8.
The Warriors (4-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Milford Coop [Law/Foran/Platt RVT] (Milford, CT). The Lawmen enter the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Milford Coop [Law/Foran/Platt RVT] was ripped by Lyman Hall (Wallingford, CT), 7-3, in a non-league challenge.
