In Saturday's non-league outing, the Nansemond River Warriors (Suffolk, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Franklin Broncos (Franklin, VA), by a margin of 49-26.
The Warriors (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against King's Fork (Suffolk, VA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 3-5 record. In their last outing, King's Fork was trounced by Varina (Richmond, VA), 78-56, in a non-league outing.
The Broncos now own a 11-6 record.
