The Hedgesville Eagles (Hedgesville, WV) basketball nipped the host Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV), 50-47 in Saturday's league test.
The Eagles (5-0) will now prepare for their test against Jefferson (Shenandoah Junction, WV). The Cougars go into the test with a 3-6 record.
The Knights now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to North Marion for a test on Tuesday, February 7.
