Sage Ridge Scorpions (Reno, NV) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Virginia City Muckers (Virginia City, NV), 49-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Sage Ridge upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Scorpions travel to Hug (Reno, NV) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 8. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 0-6. Hug lost 62-42 in their recent league bout against South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA)

Next up, the Muckers clash with the Smith Valley Bulldogs (Smith, NV) in a bout, on Saturday, February 11. Virginia City will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record.
