Fans at Sunday's non-league challenge between the La Salle Institute Cadets (Troy, NY) and the visiting Christian Brothers Academy Brothers (Albany, NY), saw La Salle Institute's basketball squad overcome Christian Brothers Academy by a tally of 79-68.

With the victory, La Salle Institute improves its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Cadets host Catholic Central (Troy, NY) to confront the Crusaders in a Section 2 Colonial - Patriot challenge on Friday, February 9. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 17-1. Catholic Central won 90-58 in their recent league challenge against Ichabod Crane (Valatie, NY)

Next up, the Brothers confront the Ballston Spa Scotties (Ballston Spa, NY) in a Section 2 Suburban - Gray challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Christian Brothers Academy will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record. The Scotties come into the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 59-55 league loss to Albany (Albany, NY).
