Oak Lawn Spartans (Oak Lawn, IL) backers were in high spirits Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Leo Lions (Chicago, IL), 68-61 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Oak Lawn upgrades its record to 18-6 on the season. The Spartans host Reavis (Burbank, IL) to clash with the Rams in a South Suburban bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 10-12. Reavis lost 77-61 in their recent league bout against Blue Island Eisenhower (Blue Island, IL)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Chicago Mt. Carmel Caravan (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Catholic - Blue bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Leo will attempt to upgrade on its 11-16 season record. The Caravan go into the bout with a 25-3 record after their 61-47 non-league win over Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL).
