The Bard (New York, NY) basketball knocked off the host Weequahic Indians (Newark, NJ), 36-23 in Sunday's non-league test.
The (18-11) will now prepare for their test against Barringer (Newark, NJ). The Blue Bears go into the non-league test with a 2-12 record. In their last test, Barringer notched a victory over Irvington (Irvington, NJ), 20-19, in a non-league test.
The Indians now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they host St. Vincent Academy for a Super Essex - Freedom test on Tuesday, February 6.
