The Gill St. Bernard's Knights basketball team scored 60 points and held the host St. Rose Purple Roses to 40 in the Knights non-league triumph on Sunday.
The Knights now sport a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rutgers Prep for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. Gill St. Bernard's will battle a Argonauts team coming off a 60-50 non-league win over Red Bank Catholic (Red Bank, NJ). The Argonauts record now stands at 17-4.
The Purple Roses (15-7) will now prepare for their contest against Immaculate Heart Academy (Washington Township, NJ). The Blue Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Immaculate Heart Academy ran past Paramus Catholic (Paramus, NJ), 52-32, in a league contest.
