The Beechwood Tigers basketball team scored 81 points and limited the host Mason County Royals to 47 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now have a 13-7 record. They play next when they travel to Holy Cross for a District 35 game on Friday, February 7. Beechwood will confront a Indians team coming off a 78-55 league loss to Covington Catholic (Park Hills, KY). The Indians record now stands at 10-8.

With the loss, Mason County falls to 8-12 on the campaign. The Royals host Simon Kenton (Independence, KY) to confront the Pioneers in a non-league game on Friday, February 7. The Pioneers go into the game with a record of 16-6. Simon Kenton won 68-51 in their recent non-league game against Campbell County (Alexandria, KY)
