The Benton Cardinals basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting Cameron Dragons to 29 in the Cardinals league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cardinals now possess a 15-3 record. They play next when they travel to Chillicothe for a Midland Empire game on Friday, February 7. Benton will play a Hornets team coming off a 60-41 league loss to St. Pius X (Kansas City, MO). The Hornets record now stands at 11-7.

With the loss, Cameron falls to 6-17 on the campaign. The Dragons host Lafayette (St. Joseph, MO) to play the Fighting Irish in a Midland Empire game on Friday, February 7. The Fighting Irish go into the game with a record of 7-4. Lafayette won 73-60 in their recent non-league game against Atchison (Atchison, KS)
