The Vikings (14-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Oakridge (Muskegon, MI). The Eagles come into the Western Michigan Lakes - Lakes challenge with a 12-6 record. In their last challenge, Oakridge trounced Kent City (Kent City, MI), 68-61, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cardinals encounter the Reed City Coyotes (Reed City, MI) in a Central State - Gold challenge, on Friday, February 7. Big Rapids will attempt to improve on its 11-5 season record. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a 4-14 record after their 60-45 league loss to Chippewa Hills (Remus, MI).
