The Bishop Hartley Hawks basketball team scored 62 points and limited the host Jonathan Alder Pioneers to 31 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hawks now have a 14-3 record. They play next when they travel to St. Charles for a Central Catholic game on Friday, February 7. Bishop Hartley will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 55-36 non-league loss to Gilmour Academy (Gates Mills, OH). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-11.

With the loss, Jonathan Alder falls to 15-4 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Bellefontaine (Bellefontaine, OH) to confront the Chieftains in a Central Buckeye Conference - Kenton Trail game on Friday, February 7. The Chieftains go into the game with a record of 8-9. Bellefontaine lost 58-48 in their recent non-league game against Butler (Vandalia, OH)
