In Tuesday's non-league test, the Bourbon County Colonels (Paris, KY) basketball squad trounced the visiting Wolfe County Wolves (Campton, KY), by a final score of 81-59.
Next, the Colonels clash with the Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, February 5. Bourbon County will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Bluejackets come into the test with a 15-7 record after their 93-84 non-league win over Western Hills (Frankfort, KY).
The Wolves (9-14) will now prepare for their test against Powell County (Stanton, KY). The Pirates come into the non-league test with a 13-7 record. In their last test, Powell County was overwhelmed by Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY), 89-73, in a non-league test.
