The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Edina Hornets (Edina, MN) and the host Breck Mustangs (Minneapolis, MN), observed Edina's basketball team edge Breck by a margin of 77-76.
The Hornets (8-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN). The Royals come into the AAAA Section 6 challenge with a 18-1 record. In their last challenge, Hopkins edged Eden Prairie (Eden Prairie, MN), 74-64, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Minnehaha Academy Red Hawks (Minneapolis, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 14. Breck will attempt to better on its 9-9 season record.
