The Sherwood Marksmen (Creighton, MO) basketball were winner over the visiting Butler Bears (Butler, MO), 44-27 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Marksmen now possess a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to Crest Ridge for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 6. Sherwood will play a Cougars team coming off a 58-40 league win over Orrick (Orrick, MO). The Cougars record now stands at 15-6.
With the loss, Butler falls to 4-14 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Leeton (Leeton, MO) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, February 7. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 11-10.
