The Climax Springs Cougars basketball team scored 73 points and limited the host Richland Bears to 35 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now have a 10-9 record. They play next when they host Conway for a non-league game on Thursday, February 6. Climax Springs will confront a Bears team coming off a 83-44 non-league win over Niangua (Niangua, MO). The Bears record now stands at 9-13.

With the loss, Richland falls to 3-15 on the campaign. The Bears host Macks Creek (Macks Creek, MO) to confront the Pirates in a non-league game on Monday, February 10. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 4-17. Macks Creek lost 56-25 in their recent league game against Wheatland (Wheatland, MO)
