In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Custer Wildcats basketball team scored a big 68-21 win over the Douglas Patriots.
The Wildcats (12-3) will now prepare for their contest against Little Wound (Kyle, SD). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Little Wound was trounced by St. Francis Indian (St. Francis, SD), 70-54, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Patriots battle the St. Thomas More Cavaliers (Rapid City, SD) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 7. Douglas will attempt to better on its 5-9 season record. The Cavaliers come into the contest with a 13-4 record after their 43-40 non-league win over Sturgis Brown (Sturgis, SD).
