Colorado High School Basketball - Douglas County overwhelmed by Rock Canyon

In Tuesday's league test, the Rock Canyon Jaguars (Highlands Ranch, CO) basketball squad trounced the host Douglas County Huskies (Castle Rock, CO), by a final score of 78-48.

The Jaguars (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Mountain Vista (Highlands Ranch, CO). The Golden Eagles go into the 6A/5A Continental contest with a 14-4 record. In their last contest, Mountain Vista smashed Legend (Parker, CO), 86-60, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Huskies confront the Glenwood Springs Demons (Glenwood Springs, CO) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 8. Douglas County will attempt to better on its 4-14 season record. The Demons go into the contest with a 9-9 record after their 60-58 league win over Eagle Valley (Gypsum, CO).
