The Fenwick Friars basketball team scored 79 points and limited the host Providence-St. Mel Knights to 45 in the Friars non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Friars now have a 18-8 record. They play next when they host De La Salle for a Chicago Catholic - Blue game on Friday, February 7. Fenwick will confront a Meteors team coming off a 62-18 non-league win over Aurora Central Catholic (Aurora, IL). The Meteors record now stands at 14-11.

With the loss, Providence-St. Mel falls to 9-13 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Montini Catholic (Lombard, IL) to confront the Broncos in a Chicago Catholic - White game on Tuesday, February 11. The Broncos go into the game with a record of 13-11.
