Oregon High School Basketball - Vale nips Grant Union

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Vale Vikings basketball team scored a close 67-62 win over the Grant Union Prospectors.
The Vikings (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Umatilla (Umatilla, OR). The Vikings come into the 3A Eastern Oregon contest with a 16-5 record. In their last contest, Umatilla edged Burns (Burns, OR), 54-43, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Prospectors battle the Heppner Mustangs (Heppner, OR) in a 2A Blue Mountain contest, on Friday, February 7. Grant Union will attempt to better on its 15-8 season record.
