The Maroa-Forsyth Trojans bounced the host Illini Central Cougars basketball squad by a final score of 80-40 in Tuesday's league outing.
Next, the Trojans clash with the Athens Warriors (Athens, IL) in a Sangamo outing, on Friday, February 7. Maroa-Forsyth will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record. The Warriors come into the outing with a 12-13 record after their 51-22 league loss to Williamsville (Williamsville, IL).
The Cougars (13-10) will now prepare for their outing against Auburn (Auburn, IL). The Trojans come into the Sangamo outing with a 22-2 record. In their last outing, Auburn was overwhelmed by Pleasant Plains (Pleasant Plains, IL), 51-43, in a league outing.
