The Nixa Eagles basketball team scored 77 points and limited the visiting Joplin Eagles to 54 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now have a 12-1 record. They play next when they travel to Waynesville for a Central Ozarks game on Friday, February 7. Nixa will confront a Tigers team coming off a 54-46 non-league loss to Carthage (Carthage, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 4-12.

With the loss, Joplin falls to 7-11 on the campaign. The Eagles host Neosho (Neosho, MO) to confront the Wildcats in a Central Ozarks game on Friday, February 7. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 7-11. Neosho lost 77-53 in their recent league game against Ozark (Ozark, MO)
