Ohio High School Basketball - North Union bests Kenton

The North Union Wildcats (Richwood, OH) basketball toppled the visiting Kenton Wildcats (Kenton, OH), 54-42 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 10-9 record. They play next when they host Shawnee for a Central Buckeye Conference - Mad River bout on Friday, February 7. North Union will play a Braves team coming off a 47-39 non-league win over Meadowdale (Dayton, OH). The Braves record now stands at 11-8.

With the loss, Kenton falls to 1-16 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Memorial (St. Marys, OH) to play the Roughriders in a Western Buckeye bout on Friday, February 7. The Roughriders go into the bout with a record of 4-14. Memorial lost 46-43 in their recent non-league bout against Sidney (Sidney, OH)
