The Washington-Marion Charging Indians bounced the host Leesville Wampus Cats basketball squad by a final score of 63-41 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Charging Indians clash with the Iowa Yellowjackets (Iowa, LA) in a 4A District 3 outing, on Friday, February 7. Washington-Marion will attempt to upgrade on its 12-11 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the outing with a 19-14 record after their 44-38 league win over DeRidder (DeRidder, LA).

The Wampus Cats (12-14) will now prepare for their outing against Eunice (Eunice, LA). The Bobcats come into the 4A District 3 outing with a 18-21 record. In their last outing, Eunice routed LaGrange (Lake Charles, LA), 63-47, in a league outing.
