The Leo Lions basketball team scored 78 points and limited the host St. Francis de Sales Pioneers to 62 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lions now possess a 16-9 record. They play next when they host Loyola Academy for a Chicago Catholic - Blue game on Friday, February 7. Leo will confront a Ramblers team coming off a 56-50 non-league loss to IC Catholic Prep (Elmhurst, IL). The Ramblers record now stands at 20-7.
With the loss, St. Francis de Sales falls to 6-18 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Unity Christian Academy (South Holland, IL) to confront the Phoenix in a non-league game on Thursday, February 6. The Phoenix go into the game with a record of 16-6.
