In Tuesday's non-league test, the River Rouge Panthers (River Rouge, MI) basketball squad defeated the host Loyola Bull Dogs (Detroit, MI), by a score of 52-44.
Next, the Panthers clash with the Dakota Cougars (Macomb, MI) in a non-league test, on Saturday, February 8. River Rouge will attempt to improve on its 12-6 season record.
The Bull Dogs (9-9) will now prepare for their test against Gabriel Richard (Ann Arbor, MI). The Fighting Irish come into the Catholic AA test with a 4-13 record. In their last test, Gabriel Richard went down by Lutheran North (Macomb, MI), 51-30, in a league test.
