In Tuesday's non-league test, the Normal Community Ironmen (Normal, IL) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs (Mahomet, IL), by a score of 74-58.
Next, the Ironmen encounter the Danville Vikings (Danville, IL) in a Big Twelve test, on Friday, February 7. Normal Community will attempt to improve on its 20-4 season record. The Vikings come into the test with a 7-15 record after their 50-40 league loss to Peoria (Peoria, IL).
The Bulldogs (9-11) will now prepare for their test against Charleston (Charleston, IL). The Trojans come into the Apollo test with a 10-14 record. In their last test, Charleston was knocked off by Mattoon (Mattoon, IL), 52-43, in a league test.
