The Mayo Spartans basketball team scored 85 points and limited the host Red Wing Wingers to 46 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Spartans now have a 14-6 record. They play next when they host Austin for a non-league game on Thursday, February 6. Mayo will confront a Packers team coming off a 75-52 league loss to Faribault (Faribault, MN). The Packers record now stands at 9-9.
With the loss, Red Wing falls to 7-12 on the campaign. The Wingers travel to Mankato West (Mankato, MN) to confront the Scarlets in a non-league game on Friday, February 7. The Scarlets go into the game with a record of 5-14. Mankato West won 64-61 in their recent non-league game against Northfield (Northfield, MN)
