Illinois High School Basketball - Monmouth United sneaks past Stark County

The Monmouth United Red Storm basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Stark County Rebels to 57 in the Red Storm league triumph on Tuesday.
The Red Storm now possess a 15-10 record. They play next when they travel to ROWVA/Williamsfield for a Lincoln Trail game on Friday, February 7. Monmouth United will play a Cougars team coming off a 54-50 league win over Biggsville West Central (Biggsville, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 7-18.
With the loss, Stark County falls to 6-16 on the campaign. The Rebels host Abingdon (Abingdon, IL) to play the Commandos in a non-league game on Friday, February 7. The Commandos go into the game with a record of 0-0.
