Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Montour bests Thomas Jefferson

The Montour Spartans (McKees Rocks, PA) basketball toppled the visiting Thomas Jefferson Jaguars (Jefferson Hills, PA), 80-60 in Tuesday's non-league contest.

The Spartans (19-1) will now prepare for their contest against Moon Area (Moon Township, PA). The Tigers go into the WPIAL 5A 4 contest with a 14-4 record.

In their next game, the Jaguars confront the Baldwin Highlanders (Pittsburgh, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 3 contest, on Friday, February 7. Thomas Jefferson will attempt to better on its 8-9 season record. The Highlanders go into the contest with a 19-1 record after their 64-55 league win over Bethel Park (Bethel Park, PA).
