Ohio High School Basketball - Patriot Prep Academy holds off New Hope Christian Academy

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Patriot Prep Academy Eagles basketball team scored a close 57-53 triumph over the New Hope Christian Academy Statesmen.

The Eagles (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Cristo Rey (Columbus, OH). The Cougar go into the United contest with a 0-16 record. In their last contest, Cristo Rey was tipped by Independence (Columbus, OH), 70-28, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Statesmen confront the Vinton County Vikings (McArthur, OH) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 8. New Hope Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 13-4 season record.
