The Westford Academy Grey Ghosts basketball squad (Westford, MA), was nudged 58-54 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Newton South Lions (Newton, MA)
With the victory, Newton South advances its record to 10-4 on the year. The Lions host Wayland (Wayland, MA) to meet the Warriors in a non-league battle on Friday, February 7. The Warriors enter the battle with a record of 4-9.
The Grey Ghosts now own a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln-Sudbury for a Dual County - Large battle on Friday, February 7.
