In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Shelby County Rockets basketball team scored a good 63-53 triumph over the North Bullitt Eagles.
The Rockets (2-19) will now prepare for their contest against Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY). The Braves go into the non-league contest with a 8-12 record. In their last contest, Grant County was toppled by Henry County (New Castle, KY), 85-79, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles confront the Bullitt Central Cougars (Shepherdsville, KY) in a District 23 contest, on Friday, February 7. North Bullitt will attempt to better on its 15-7 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 8-15 record after their 77-58 non-league loss to Bullitt East (Mt. Washington, KY).
