In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Northwest Indians basketball team scored a big 67-25 triumph over the Springfield Spartans.

The Indians (14-4) will now prepare for their contest against Fairless (Navarre, OH). The Falcons go into the Principals contest with a 4-16 record. In their last contest, Fairless was trounced by Tuscarawas Central Catholic (New Philadelphia, OH), 60-57, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Norton Panthers (Norton, OH) in a Metro contest, on Friday, February 7. Springfield will attempt to better on its 0-19 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 7-10 record after their 55-32 league loss to Streetsboro (Streetsboro, OH).
