The Northwest Webster Cougars basketball team scored 74 points and limited the visiting West Bend-Mallard Wolverines to 27 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now have a 15-4 record. They play next when they travel to South Central Calhoun for a non-league game on Friday, February 7. Northwest Webster will confront a Titans team coming off a 58-47 league win over Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA). The Titans record now stands at 10-8.

With the loss, West Bend-Mallard falls to 4-16 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Pocahontas (Pocahontas, IA) to confront the Indians in a non-league game on Friday, February 7. The Indians go into the game with a record of 4-14.
