The Walker Wildcats basketball team scored 59 points and limited the host Prairieville Hurricanes to 39 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now have a 14-17 record. They play next when they host St. Amant for a 5A District 5 game on Friday, February 7. Walker will confront a Gators team coming off a 57-53 league win over Dutchtown (Geismar, LA). The Gators record now stands at 20-20.

With the loss, Prairieville falls to 10-14 on the campaign. The Hurricanes host East Ascension (Gonzales, LA) to confront the Spartans in a 5A District 5 game on Friday, February 7. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 15-4. East Ascension won 48-46 in their recent league game against Live Oak (Watson, LA)
