The Sterling Golden Warriors (Sterling, IL) basketball toppled the visiting Riverdale Rams (Port Byron, IL), 82-68 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Golden Warriors now possess a 12-13 record. They play next when they travel to Alleman for a Western Big 6 bout on Friday, February 7. Sterling will play a Pioneers team coming off a 73-52 non-league loss to Sherrard (Sherrard, IL). The Pioneers record now stands at 4-21.
With the loss, Riverdale falls to 16-8 on the campaign. The Rams host Sherrard (Sherrard, IL) to play the Tigers in a Three Rivers - West bout on Friday, February 7. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 21-3. Sherrard won 73-52 in their recent non-league bout against Alleman (Rock Island, IL)
