Kansas High School Basketball - Saint Thomas Aquinas overwhelms Sumner Academy

The Saint Thomas Aquinas Saints basketball team scored 66 points and limited the host Sumner Academy Sabres to 23 in the Saints non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Saints now have a 8-5 record. They play next when they host Basehor-Linwood for a non-league game on Friday, February 7. Saint Thomas Aquinas will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 67-62 league win over Seaman (Topeka, KS). The Bobcats record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Sumner Academy falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Sabres host Wyandotte (Kansas City, KS) to confront the Bulldogs in a Meadowlark game on Wednesday, February 5. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 0-11. Wyandotte lost 45-42 in their recent league game against Harmon (Kansas City, KS)
