The Dougherty Valley Wildcats basketball team scored 78 points and limited the visiting Amador Valley Dons to 47 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now possess a 25-2 record. They play next when they travel to Dublin for a game on Friday, February 7. Dougherty Valley will confront a Gaels team coming off a 54-51 league win over San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA). The Gaels record now stands at 22-3.

With the loss, Amador Valley falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Dons host Foothill (Pleasanton, CA) to confront the Falcons in a game on Friday, February 7. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 14-12. Foothill won 47-41 in their recent league game against California (San Ramon, CA)
