The Archie Whirlwinds basketball team scored 43 points and limited the visiting Drexel Bobcats to 14 in the Whirlwinds league triumph on Tuesday.

The Whirlwinds now have a 13-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lone Jack for a non-league game on Wednesday, February 5. Archie will confront a Mules team coming off a 41-27 non-league win over Harrisonville (Harrisonville, MO). The Mules record now stands at 12-2.

With the loss, Drexel falls to 8-8 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Liberal (Liberal, MO) to confront the Bulldogs in a Western Missouri game on Friday, February 7. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 12-2. Liberal won 50-14 in their recent league game against Appleton City (Appleton City, MO)
