Marshall Lions (Marshall, IL) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond Knights (Arthur, IL), 52-33 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Marshall advances its record to 15-11 on the year. The Lions travel to Robinson (Robinson, IL) to face the Maroons in a Little Illini match on Thursday, February 6. The Maroons enter the match with a record of 13-13. Robinson won 45-29 in their recent non-league match against Dieterich (Dieterich, IL)

The Knights now own a 12-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] for a Lincoln Prairie match on Thursday, February 6. Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond will face a Titans squad coming off a 57-27 league loss to Cumberland (Toledo, IL). The Titans record now stands at 13-13.
