Louisiana High School Basketball - Assumption overwhelms Morgan City

The Assumption Mustangs basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Morgan City Tigers to 21 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now possess a 10-14 record. They play next when they travel to E.D. White for a 4A District 8 game on Thursday, February 6. Assumption will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 41-33 league win over South Lafourche (Galliano, LA). The Cardinals record now stands at 19-4.
With the loss, Morgan City falls to 7-11 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to E.D. White (Thibodaux, LA) to confront the Cardinals in a 4A District 8 game on Friday, February 7. The Cardinals go into the game with a record of 19-4.
