In Tuesday's league contest, the host West Elk Patriots basketball team scored a close 38-37 triumph over the Central Raiders.
The Patriots (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Caldwell (Caldwell, KS). The Bluejays go into the South Central Border contest with a 3-12 record. In their last contest, Caldwell was tipped by Cedar Vale/Dexter (Cedar Vale, KS), 51-32, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Raiders confront the Udall Eagles (Udall, KS) in a South Central Border contest, on Friday, February 7. Central will attempt to better on its 6-6 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 6-10 record after their 47-27 league loss to Argonia (Argonia, KS).
