In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln Red Raiders basketball team scored a close 57-52 triumph over the Chippewa Falls Cardinals.
The Red Raiders (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Wausau East (Wausau, WI). The Lumberjacks go into the Wisconsin Valley contest with a 0-15 record. In their last contest, Wausau East was tipped by Medford (Medford, WI), 67-13, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Rice Lake Warriors (Rice Lake, WI) in a Big Rivers contest, on Friday, February 7. Chippewa Falls will attempt to better on its 1-17 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 17-2 record after their 56-51 non-league win over Marshall (Duluth, MN).
