The Hampton Hawks basketball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Palmer Tigers to 0 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hawks now have a 2-16 record. They play next when they travel to Twin River for a non-league game on Thursday, February 6. Hampton will confront a Titans team coming off a 55-41 non-league win over East Butler (Brainard, NE). The Titans record now stands at 11-7.
With the loss, Palmer falls to 6-10 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Heartland Lutheran (Grand Island, NE) to meet the Red Hornets in a non-league battle on Thursday, February 6. The Red Hornets enter the battle with a record of 9-11. Heartland Lutheran won 77-40 in their recent non-league battle against Elba (Elba, NE)
