In Tuesday's league contest, the host Heritage Hawks basketball team scored a big 59-24 triumph over the Mt. Pleasant Oilers.
The Hawks (12-3) will now prepare for their contest against Carman-Ainsworth (Flint, MI). The Cavaliers go into the Saginaw Valley contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Carman-Ainsworth smashed Lapeer (Lapeer, MI), 61-38, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Oilers battle the Dow Chargers (Midland, MI) in a Saginaw Valley contest, on Friday, February 7. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to better on its 10-4 season record. The Chargers go into the contest with a 8-8 record after their 62-54 non-league win over Freeland (Freeland, MI).
