Lyndon Institute Vikings (Lyndon Center, VT) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Thetford Academy Panthers (Thetford, VT), 27-24 in a league match.
With the victory, Lyndon Institute advances its record to 3-11 on the year. The Vikings host Randolph (Randolph, VT) to face the Ghosts in a Capital challenge on Thursday, February 6. The Ghosts come into the challenge with a record of 6-7. Randolph won 50-46 in their recent league challenge against Lake Region (Orleans, VT)
In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Spaulding Crimson Tide (Barre, VT) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 6. Thetford Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Crimson Tide come into the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 55-30 non-league win over U-32 (Montpelier, VT).
