The Ottawa Pirates nipped the host Normal University Pioneers basketball squad by a final score of 37-30 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
Next, the Pirates face the Sycamore Spartans (Sycamore, IL) in a Interstate 8 outing, on Friday, February 7. Ottawa will attempt to upgrade on its 19-7 season record. The Spartans enter the outing with a 8-18 record after their 62-40 non-league loss to Stillman Valley (Stillman Valley, IL).
